Check the version information, incubation time (total time used in your DAW), the number of newborn cells, and the number of discovered species.
License
Type your license key and press Enter to activate. Once activated, shows who the license belongs to, along with the key and the device.
Pipette
Place your favorite sound cells anywhere for detailed sound design. Placing them higher makes the sound brighter, and placing them left or right changes the stereo panning. The pipette turns red when a newly discovered cell is waiting.
Pagination
Switch between palette pages.
Sort
Sort cells in the palette by shape or color.
Preview
Audition the current sound of the petri dish.
Beaker
Displays the beaker controls to adjust the sound.
Red
Adjusts the brightness of the sound. (Filter)
Green
Adjusts the attack and length of the sound. (Envelope)
Blue
Adjusts the modulation and width of the sound. (Chorus)
Yellow
Adjusts the reverberation of the sound. (Reverb)
Flask
Displays the flask controls to add effects to the sound.
Purple
Adds low frequencies. (Sub Oscillator)
Orange
Adds a distorted sound. (Saturation)
Mint
Adds echoing sounds. (Delay)
Light Blue
Adds stereo width. (Stereo Width)
Pink
Adds thickness to the sound. (Detune)
Cream
Adds a shimmering effect. (Shimmer)
Lime
Adds a vocal character. (Formant)
Indigo
Adds a swirling effect. (Phaser)
Light
Suspends cell activity. When you want to make fine adjustments or have created a sound you like, try turning off the light to switch to dark mode.
Dice
Pull down to drop cells randomly. The more rare cells you have, the more likely you are to encounter happy accidents!
Culture
Your collection of saved dishes. Drag and drop your favorite sounds to save or recall them.
